The event joins wish kids and their friends\, families and supporters to raise money for wishes of local kids. Join us for the free family-friendly event featuring free food\, touch a truck\, a wish world carnival\, Santa Claus\, glow sticks\, face painting station and more! Participants can sign-up and create a walk team at www.WalkForWishesMidsouth.org.\n\n \n\nMake-A-Wish  grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions. Each year\, Make-A-Wish Mid-South fulfills the wishes of more than 275 children across the Mid-South. Founded in 1986\, the Mid-South chapter has granted more than 5\,275 wishes since its inception. The average cost of a wish is more than $8\,000\, and the organization relies solely on fundraisers\, corporate support and donations from the public to bring hope\, strength and joy to families who need it most.
