DESCRIPTION:Remote Workforce - Engagement\, Connection\, and Accountability\n\n\n\nCOVID has brought about changes in many areas of our lives. One of those is a much higher percentage of the workforce is now home-based. What are employers doing to keep their remote workforce engaged and connected? How are employers keeping remote workers accountable?\n\n\n\nLegal Update by James Harper\, Attorney\, Harper Little Law\n\n\n\nSpeakers\n\n \n\nDiane Heyman\, SPHR\, DMH Consulting LLC. spent more than 30 years in the Human Resources profession leading teams\, building people and process capabilities\, while driving strategies that aligned with business goals and growth.\n\n \n\nAnne Sparrenberger has more than 28 years of progressive leadership experience at FedEx\, and has history with both an academic interest (and award) in making the case for the remote workforce\, as well as decades of practical experience in leading partial and completely remote teams.  She now has the opportunity to represent leaders and staff in her organization's current and ongoing contemplation of the workplace of the future.\n\n \n\nMonthly meetings are held to explore the latest trends\, topics\, and legislation that employers face in the workplace. SHRA exists to encourage education\, involvement\, inclusion\, mentoring\, and networking for individuals responsible for human resources within any size company. This program is designed to meet the needs of small business leaders\, as well as senior level human resource practitioners and entry level practitioners who may have other responsibilities in their organization.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n* This event is open to SHRA members only. Membership is restricted to HR professionals and those whose work involves human resources administration\, management\, or consulting in HR issues.\n\n\n\nSHRA members are encouraged to bring a guest.
