(HERO Village) are hosting a motorcycle and car ride to bring awareness to the following community challenges: \n\n \n\n The risk of suicide for veterans is 21 percent higher when compared to civilian adults. (Centers for Disease Control)\n 1 in 4 families is dealing with Mental Health issues and jails are the largest provider for the mentally ill. (National Alliance on Mental Illness)\n Lack of access to mental health care and substance abuse treatment increases the risk for suicide. (National Suicide Prevention Lifeline)\n Mid-South youth attempt suicide more than other youth in the U.S. (Centers for Disease Control)\n On average\, 113 youth die by suicide each day.
